Price Guidelines
COMMISSIONS
As time permits, I would gladly accept commissions for portraits or pets. All aspects of the drawing are subject to discussion. The guidelines here are just that; guidelines. The goal is always to arrive at the best possible family keepsake within a given budget. Together, artist and client can expect a work of art that will be cherished and valued for generations. Please keep in mind that quality of work requires a large time commitment on the part of the artist. you must get in contact with me for an exact price. All materials to produce the artwork are my responsibility. The client is responsible for framing, for taxes (if applicable), and for shipping and insurance.
I'll put as much detail into each work as the source photo allows. That means that some portraits can be considerably more time consuming (should you desire such a level of detail) than others.
A good place to begin is to expect a single individual portrait on 14" x 17" 100 lb. Bristol Vellum, Acid Free, Museum quality, board would begin at $500. Again, remember when considering the price, just how much time I put into each portrait. I cannot produce a finished product with less than twenty-five hours of work behind it.
Creative poses, spontaneous moments caught on film tend to make the most memorable works of art, but ultimately the image that means the most to you is the one that works best. Email me with any questions you may have regarding cost.
Please allow for a minimum of 3-4 works for completion, as this also depends on the detail of each drawing.
I look forward to working together to achieve a beautiful family keepsake drawing.
